Matariki in the Pikopiko room
July has been a busy month for our Pikopiko room tamariki. We have been busy taking part in matariki art, to celebrate the occasion. At BestStart Tawa South, we had a Matariki event; in which our tamariki and their whānau joined in celebrating the event.
Our Pikopiko tamariki have also been helping the kaiako in making our own rūma, by painting feathers. Watch this space in the korowai coming together!
Our tamariki have been loving art activities, enabling them to express their creativity, whilst developing their hand-eye coordination and their finger and hand muscles.
