Last week to help celebrate Matariki - The Maori New Year, we were so lucky to have some of our tamariki bring their Whaea and Nana Ana to Kindy to share their skills and knowledge of weaving and te ao Maori. All of the tamariki really enjoyed listening to what Nana Ana had to say about weaving and the wonderful story book she shared. 

It was so nice to have whanau input and involvement in the childres programme and learning. We made some ka mau te wehi, awesome stars and fishes. We are so grateful to our whanau for sharing their mahi with us and we hope to do this again. What a wonderful experience!
