Movie Night to celebrate Matariki
As part of our Matariki event, BestStart Mangere East Preschool organised a cosy movie night for our whanau. This was also our first time gathering together again as a one big family post lockdown. We wanted this to be as homely and comfortable for all our families. We created a cosy space in our classroom and filled it with blankets and pillows.
As our tamariki came in in their PJs, we all snuggled up and watched a movie while sharing some kai. This was such an awesome way for especially our whanau in between their busy weeks to come, to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
