Mums and Bubs Bootcamp
Today we had our first BestStart Mums and Bubs Bootcamp led by Courtney who is a personal trainer. We all met at Queen Square Park Hastings at 9am this morning for a 45 minute session. The sessions were focussing on strengthening our pelvic floor muscles and core. The exercises were adaptable to workout with baby or without baby. Kim our parent whanau support teacher entertained the little babes while their mums got a workout done. It was awesome to see such a great turn out of mums coming together within the community. We are looking forward to the next five sessions.
