BestStart Balclutha held our annual Mother’s Day celebration on Friday the 10th of May. It was a lovely relaxed night for our special people, delicious kai and great company, celebrating all the mums and awesome ladies in the lives of our tamariki.

Everyone had the opportunity to take part in flower making, decorating biscuits and picture frames as well as painting some lovely messages for all the mums.

We had a photo booth which proved to be very popular, one young man brought his mum back several times-he usually dislikes getting his photo taken, his mum was rapt!

Everyone left with a fresh flower chosen by their child and we all had a wonderful night.

This was about the mums and their tamariki but our kaiako also enjoyed the special time with our amazing whānau, getting to know them better, reflecting our philosophy and commitment to whanaungatanga.

Nga mihi me te aroha nui mo te Ra o Te Whaea. ❤
