Our children and families have settled back very well after the lockdown and this month we focused more on celebrating cultures. June ended with the observation of  Samoan language week . Languages and cultures are an integral part of our teaching and learning here at BestStart Meadowbank.

This is a way our children learn about the  existence and importance of many different languages and cultures around the world. Samoan language week celebration involved learning about Tapa art, learning Samoan greeting, songs, dance and stories from the culture were all very much enjoyed by the tamariki, whanau and the teachers
