Our tamariki were very excited to find that we have a new team member at BestStart Opihi. Rupert Rabbit has been welcomed with open arms and plenty of excitement. We spent a whole week thinking of lots of possible names for him and had a group vote before we decided on Rupert. We have had lots of conversations about how to care for Rupert and what he needs to keep him safe and happy. We love having a furry friend to help settle tamariki and give a cuddle when needed. It is also a great way to learn more about caring for others and our environment.
