We had a fabulous turnout at BestStart Havelock North for our fun cultural food evening. Families/whanau brought food from their own culture. We all gathered together for a karakia, and then served up our kai. How wonderful to taste dishes from around the world. Everyone enjoyed sharing the stories behind their beloved dishes and spending time together in each other’s company.

What a wonderful relaxing night!

Evenings like this enable us to foster relationships and learn a little bit more about each other’s culture, values and beliefs.  

Thank you to all our families/whanau for supporting this evening and we know you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
