Our BestStart Te Aroha whanau have been busy enjoying a wide range of different learning experiences while at HOME during our Level 4 Lock down.  Our kaiako worked hard to continue to support our tamariki with their learning at home.  Each day we have shared learning experiences and ideas with our whanau via story park.  It has been such a wonderful way to stay connected with the children and to continue to extend their ako.  We have enjoyed weekly pukapuka time with Colleen and her dog Molly sharing stories via video with the children.  Kayland and Western have shared some awesome video's of volcano eruptions, making muffins and playdough fun!  Karen and Catherine continued to support our pepe with some fantastic sensory play ideas.  Ashley was able to share some healthy kai ideas that came from the Healthy Heart foundation so that we could continue to stay our healthy selves during lock down.  We had some wonderful feedback from Whanau.  Many of our children enjoyed sharing a PJ day with their kaiako and posted photos of themselves on story park.  We are all so looking forward to welcoming all of our BestStart Te Aroha back into our centre.
