Our focus on physicality and health
The tamariki have recently finished an inquiry project around the body, in particular the physical body and health. Currently children have been busy drawing and printing pictures on the Ipads, exploring sensory activities which include many different forms of slime, art activities and also how to get creative in the outdoor environment. Social competence is always a focus and we assist the children to become socially independent and to solve disputes in a socially acceptable way, we also assist the children to take turns and to see others points of view . We have quite a few four year old's who have been going on school visits and have been absolutely loving going to visits their schools, meet their teachers and see what school life is all about!
