Our nursery room is full of our little explorers. Their little curious mind allows them to explore  in  the different areas and provides them with the  different sensory experiences. With this they are getting familiar with the environment and their little world around them. They enjoyed various sensory experiences like finger painting and messy play. They enjoyed exploring 16 learning areas of play throughout the month with the means of variety of learning experiences. The intentional planning supports them with learning about the textures, sounds, movements and channelize their cognitive thinking. This does not just instigate their desiring knowledge  but also helps them to be more creative and expressive.

We also have our little caring bubs who are looking after their younger ones (tuakana-teina) in the form of holding dolls and also showing care of each other.  Group learning experiences are supporting them with building a trustful relationship with each other. Dancing session has been the highlight in our nursery room, with which our children are getting to know about how their bodies can move and how they can coordinate and control their bodies. Celebrating different cultures and events are an integral part of our room. Our daily learning experiences acknowledge all the cultures and enhance children’s understanding in relevance to their own and other children’s culture and language.
