Our morning trip to the park

This morning we ventured out to our local park and all the tamariki had so much fun. We spent an hour climbing, running, sliding and challenging ourselves on all the equipment. The slides were definitely the most popular thing to do with all the tamariki showing no fear and confidently sliding their tinana/bodies down them. Our younger friends enjoyed watching the older tamariki and finding the strength to follow in their footsteps and give new things a try.

Whilst out we even met a few new e hoa/friends which was very exciting as well. This excursion was meaningful and empowering for the tamariki to be able to truly put their capabilities to the test and we can not wait to be able to take them again.
