This month we had Mother's Day been celebrated in all the Rooms with our lovely mothers. We had Breakfast/Morning Tea and Mother's Day Card for Mothers in our Infant's room and Preschool.  In the Toddler's room teachers made a gift pack for Mum's 

At Best Start Avondale also had our Parent evening where we get to share the curriculum in Early childhood, how children learn through play and how we prepare them to school. Parents get to ask questions, look around the room, children's learning displays and the areas of play available to children all day. Kim My Area Manager Joined with me and we together run the presentation that talks about Early childhood curriculum, areas of play and the Best Start 'Be School Ready programme'.

Parents were happy to see how we work with children and wanted to have more of such evenings where we share children's learning and work in partnership with parents/whanau.
