Our second Parent Information Evening at EduKids East Tamaki was held on 27 November 2018. The focus of the presentation was what schools expect from new entrants and how the programmes and learning experiences in the different rooms at the centre help children to become school-ready.

The evening began with a karakia (prayer), after which the parents were divided into small groups for solving a puzzle game that acted as an ice-breaker as well a factor emphasizing the importance of puzzle play for children's learning.

This was followed by a power point presentation about the learning happening in each room and the way teachers support children through their learning and development at each stage.
