At BestStart Mangere East, localised curriculum is an important part of our curriculum. We love being a part of our local community and want to give our tamariki the opportunity to learn about the world around them through our local walks and excursions.

One well known location in Mangere East is the Massey Homestead which is in close walking distance from the centre providing the children with freedom to explore on their walk to the Massey homestead. The friendships, memories and experiences created outside the classroom is valuable in helping them prepare for primary school.
