Last Tuesday morning we were all ready for our first spring trip to Hagley Park. Our tamariki got so excited as soon as Lilly said: "We are going on pram today!" "Pram, pram!" Harriet yelled out.

It was such a beautiful day to go out. Our tamariki enjoyed exploring the natural environment outside of our preschool. Caitie and Lilly pushed two four seater prams and walked past the daffodil field, we went across the big bridge and then walked through Hagley Park. We were so lucky to have our student teacher Cindy walked with us, she was our special photographer.

Our tamariki have had such a great time. Harriet and Hazel were very busy chatting away the entire time; Archie got so busy spotting trucks and tractors. GG enjoyed pointing the blue sky and waving to the people. Heidi loved watching the seagull and ducks when we were walking past the pond then she fell asleep on the way back.

On our way back, we decided to walk through Mona Vale Gardens. Our tamariki were so excited to the ducks there and lots of beautiful flowers. Our two little friends Leah and Radha both had big sleep and woke up very happy when we arrived at Mona vale park. They loved looking around and listening to the birds singing.

What a great trip we had! We were so happy to be able to go out again after the cold winter and reconnect with our local community. We will surely go back again soon!
