We work hard to guide our children to be forward thinkers in regards to our waste products. Recycling and taking care of our place is something that happens as part of our daily programme here and our children also practice this at home. We feed kai scraps to our worm farm and make compost for our vege garden.  We are part of a great programme called "Paper for trees" where we recycle all of our paper and in return we get to plant trees pending how much we recycle. This term we were given 12 native NZ trees and plants. Here are some photos of our tamariki planting some and giving back to our world. Thanks to Paper for Trees for supporting us with this, what an awesome initiative.
