Parklands Community Connections
Recently Beststart Parklands collected food items, after a post asking for donations was spotted by our staff for Ronald McDonald house South Island. With some staff members having a personal connection to Ronald McDonald house, knowing children currently undergoing treatment and staying there. We were more than happy to help such a fantastic organisation, we put the call for help out to our whanau in the Parklands community. Our collection basket was full within two days and we had to find extra bags to hold all the kind food donations from our BestStart Parklands whanau! A week later Emily the centre manager was able to go visit and drop off all the donations we received, Ronald McDonald house South Island was so grateful for these donations and we received a letter from them thanking us personally.
