Peekaboo Outside
Recently in the Fern and Pepe room's outside playground, we had the bushes and trees trimmed in our outside area. The tamariki made the most of the clear walk way and played a game of peek-a-boo with each other. Using the whole length of the path they would hide and then jump out and say "boo".
This was a great spontaneous learning experience for the tamariki. Learning about including everyone in play, strengthening relationships and taking turns at hiding and then jumping out from behind the bushes.
