At BestStart Mahora we love to play around with ideas and get creative! In this activity we converted a brain box kit into a centrifugal painting activity.
Practicing the fine motor pincer grip, our tamariki loaded up the eye droppers with paint before squeezing the paint out on the rapidly spinning paper. They watched gravity in action as the spinning paper flung the paint across the paper and onto the edges of the box. We waited in anticipation as the brain box was turned off to see the amazing works of art that this method of painting created. Atahua! (Beautiful!)
