Playing outside whatever the weather
We are all about empowering our tamariki - we believe children learn and develop to their potential through respect and being valued for who they are. This means recognising their rights to have their wellbeing promoted and be protected from harm and to experience equitable opportunities for participation and learning.
We promote our pepi to be warm and able to enjoy the outdoors in the winter months being able to explore in their time unrushed and respected that it is okay to get dirty, dig in the sand and explore. Playing outside in all weather is super important, keeping healthy we need to care for children's physical, cognitive, emotional and mental health before they can thrive.
