Ready for School at BestStart Harrison Street
Ensuring our children are ready for the next step in their
educational journey is an important focus within Beststart Harrison Street. We
encourage our children to be independent, capable and confident, to ask
questions and be curious about the world around them.
Relationships are important at BestStart Harrison Street, with a strong focus on the social and emotional growth of all our children. This ensures our children are ready and eager to learn when they start school, curious about the world around them and confident to ask questions about things they are unsure of. This learning starts from the very first day at BestStart Harrison.
We have said farewell to quite a few of our friends over the past couple of months and each child has been involved in their own personal graduation ceremony. They are dressed up in a korowai, along with cap and gown, presented a certificate of graduation which also highlights their strengths and achievements from their time with us at BestStart Harrison. It is a wonderful opportunity for family and whanau to celebrate their child’s learning journey and prepare for their next transition into school.
