Receiving our bronze Healthy Heart award
Today at BestStart Opihi we had a visit from Sophie from the NZ Heart Foundation with a special delivery. Sophie came to deliver our bronze Healthy Heart award! The tamariki were very excited to receive the Healthy Heart award along with some pukapuka and a puzzle. Sophie played a game at mat time with the tamariki and read a story about fruits and vegetables and what colours they are. Tamariki then told Sophie the yummy healthy kai that they love to eat. Thank you Sophie for coming to visit us!
