Reconnecting after lockdown
This month the tamariki (children) have been building relationships between each other. They are reconnecting their friendships due to lockdown. The tamariki have missed not seeing each other during the time we were at home and it's great to have everyone back at the centre and getting back to normal.
This month the tamariki have had a variety of experiences to get involved in that allows them to be creative and expressive with each other. The tamariki have showed a lot of interest in messy play experiences.
They have been having exploring resources and spaces we have set up. They have been enjoying reconnecting with their e hoa / friends and peers, and welcoming some new tamariki and whanau to BestStart Kelvin Street!
We have enjoyed being back together at BestStart Kelvin Street, sharing stories of lockdown.
