Redeveloping our sense of belonging
This month the children in the Pitau room have been redeveloping their sense of belonging - tūrangawaewae in our environment and rebuilding their relationships - whanaungatanga after a long 8 weeks away due to Covid-19. Our youngest pēpi - babies have enjoyed being toasty warm inside exploring a range of new resources our kaiako - teachers have made during their time at home. Our older tamariki - children have enjoyed being outside exploring the sandpit and testing their gross motor skills through climbing, running and sliding.
