After Lockdown, everything was overgrown so the teachers worked together to prepare for our tamariki to return.

The environments were refreshed so tamariki had beautiful sensory areas where they could spend time developing their imaginations as they played.

Children continue their learning journey as they take care of Paptuanuku (mother earth) and learn about being a kaitiaki (guardian/caretaker) of our environment. Children are also learning about Kaitaikitanga (responsibility/ownership) as well as Te Ao Maori concepts and strengthening their identity as a kaitiaki of the environment.
