Our oldest pre-schoolers were excited to represent the BestStart Kelvin Grove Grizzly Bears at our annual Athletics Day.  The tamariki experienced a bus ride there and back and had a delicious picnic lunch. We competed against the other local BestStart centres in long jump, hurdles, sprints, gumboot throwing, sack races and egg and spoon races. 

There were even whānau and kaiako running races! The children had so much fun.  We are so proud of the tamariki and appreciate all of the parent helpers who joined us on the day. Another example of living our vision: “At one with child, whānau and community”.
