School Visit to our Local School
Our tamariki look forward to our regular school visits as soon as they turn 4. Vardon School is just a short walk down the road and a lot of our tamariki already have siblings and friends that have attended our preschool there. Our tamariki get to join on normal school routines, they enjoy mat time, have morning tea and free play. They learn to feel really comfortable in this new environment helping with their transition to school. Here at First Steps Vardon we have a wonderful relationship with our local school and visit them twice a term or more when able.
