Shed 23 music experience
Wow what an amazing trip the children at BestStart Palmerston North had when we visited Jennifer in Shed 23. Jennifer showed us different instruments and how they were played. She talked to us about loud sounds and soft sounds. And we had to listen to the rhythm Jennifer clapped so we could clap the same.
Jennifer played for us an instrument called an Ocean Drum, this sounded just like the rain or as Jennifer told us it sounded like the sea and that is how it got it's name. Next she brought out a string instrument made in Africa. I really liked how you thought it looked like a giraffe because of its long neck Nina.
