It has been a bit of a crazy couple of months with some uncertainty, we have tried to maintain connections with our families through the use of Best Start at Home. Our teachers have engaged in activities, zoom calls, cooking and outdoor adventures and have documented the processes with Story Park.

Through these interactions we were able to keep the connection with children and family/whanau during these challenging times. We have dropped off activity packs which were provided by Ministry of Education for those families who were not able to pick up from the centre, and had those distant interactions.

Once we had moved into level 3 and had our bubbles in the centre, it was lovely for the teachers and children to be back and adjusting to the new normal once again. With the different age groups, it was beautiful to see the relationships being built and the interactions which occurred.
