Just like that, the first term of the year is over! To celebrate it and make school holidays much more engaging and exciting, we had a different event and theme every day. Celebrating and staying true to our vision, "Creativity and aroha lead the way" at BestStart Omokoroa, we had fun through playing games and creating crafts, having a teddy bears picnic, and we had the classic dress up days and an amped up crazy hair disco day! 

Additionally, we also commemorated ANZAC Day by making artworks -- not only in our rooms -- but invited our loved ones and opened up some space for people in our local community to participate in, too. 

Our children surely enjoyed the different activities aimed at helping them feel the freedom to express and be themselves and develop a strong sense of belonging in with their whanau, peers, and community.
