Testing out our ball skills
A couple of children created their own game using a hula hoop and the balls. They all took turns at standing on the grass and holding the hula hoop up high, while the other two children stood up on the wooden seat and tested their ball skills. They used great hand/eye coordination, balance and encouraged one another. It was great to hear them verbally expressing their thoughts and ideas with one another, on how they could adapt the game or the strategies they were using, but also as they shared and took turns with the equipment. Ka pai!!
