Celebrating today, we started off coming together to talk about love and kindness, and we all gave our friends some beautiful hugs. One of our Punjabi children helped to get the bowls of colour ready, she was so excited, knowing what was about to happen she said several times, “This is FUN”!

We had a great time throwing our colours of love to our friends. The facial expressions were priceless, making a mess and cheekily covering friends is so much fun! One of our Mum’s brought in some drums  to add to the occasion, this created a special atmosphere along with our Punjabi music. The children loved it especially as it was a great extension for our bucket drumming.

To finish off our morning we had a big picnic altogether, coming together again just added to our feeling of aroha and whanaungatanga for each other.
