Transitioning through our centre
BestStart Hei Hei has four rooms with children transitioning at approximately aged 1 year, 2 years and 3.5 years of aged. Each room has a transition practice however this is flexible over a set period of time such as from the Kiwi room to the Kea room we allow six to eight weeks. Children aged two, transitioning from a smaller, slower paced room, can sometimes need a longer period of time to adjust to a new environment.
