Transportation
Talofa, Namaste, Kamusta, Kia ora and hello tamariki ma. Our current group project is about "Transportation". This morning I set up a runway for these tamariki and they were all working collaboratively driving around the runways. Some boys started to drive around so fast. I started to chat with them about how to be safe on roads. Hammad supported the idea and added, "Speeding is not good guys, you will have accident and will be taken to the hospital." Everyone joined in the conversation about driving safely. In this learning experience, tamariki are developing the ability to explore, enjoy while trying to make sense of the world around them (Te Whariki, exploration strand).
