As part of our preschool planning topic of 'Our Community' we visited our local supermarket Countdown Colombo.  We went with a shopping list that our children had prepared, this showed the ingredients for potato rosti.  We had a good look around as a group learning about the supermarket. The children watched a forklift unloading groceries and then we went behind the scenes in the bakery department for piklet decorating, we were then allowed to bring them back to pre-school to share with our friends for desert! 

What a wonderful learning experience had by all!  Thank you to Countdown Colombo our children were so happy!!
