Using imagination to extend learning
We set out activities for the children to explore with particular learning outcomes for them to achieve. Learning shapes and colours and using these coloured blocks to create pictures of animals and flowers. However our friend decided to extend this activity and create some amazing work. He did set off creating the animal pictures but then went on to creating his own patterns. This extension of learning is celebrated by his teachers.
