Valentine’s Day celebration is marked on the 14th of February. It is celebrated to show your love and passion about the people whom you love. In our kiwi room the babies did beautiful cards with their hand prints for their mum and dad and some for their nana’s as well. They decorated it with their choice of collage materials to make it more attractive. It was very much appreciated by the whanau as we handed the cards to them.

In the over 2’s classrooms, Tamariki had the opportunity to cut out a love heart for their special cards, the flax represented the stem of the flower and the love heart represented the flowers.  Tino pai to mahi tamariki ma! Our special cards had the saying "Happy valentine’s day to the most special person in my life.You are my love, my heart, my joy, my everything
