Visiting the museum with our friends
We were very fortunate to be invited by the Japanese Group to meet them at the museum. Our children were so excited. They had their little green vests on, jackets and smiles as they waved goodbye to their friends at preschool.
The first part of the trip was to walk to the closest bus stop where we waited for bus No. 17. We found some seats right at the back of the bus and enjoyed looking out the window and identifying places or areas that were familiar to them.
When we arrived at the museum we were seated in a little theatre and a guide gave us a presentation about safety and inventions.
Our children had a fantastic time interacting with our Japanese friends and exploring all of the fun things at the museum. One of their favourite things to do at the museum was to spend time in the 'garden and shop'. It was really awesome to see this engagement from our children as it was reflective of our current learning in preschool.
