Water play at Elles Road
Water play is a great way to extend our fine and gross motor skills as we splash, pour, stir and squeeze!
Water play is also great for making discoveries and developing creative thinking which helps to extend problem solving. Not to mention all the wonderful conversations we were having, helping to build on our communication.
Adding bubbles created even more fun for our tamariki!
Water play releases energy! It can be invigorating, relaxing and calming for young children. This can be a fantastic settling experience for our tamariki. A great way to build on our social skills as we cooperate, share space and spend time together.
Play is the work of children. It's very serious stuff!
