At BestStart Tauranga Central we love bring water play inside not just on rainy days but as a continuous messy play experiences for children to explore through their senses. Today through group collaboration and sharing, children explored and discovered through their play with the water. Some are exploring the use of the resources such as how to use a pipettes whereas others are showing curiosity with colour mixing, measuring and experimenting. For our younger children engaging in their group play they are developing their concentration and thinking skills while the older children are increasing their communication and sharing while supporting those younger than them.  During this activity it was so great to see all involved sharing the space and resources while using their verbal and non verbal communication together.  All are gaining great teamwork and collaboration skills.
