We love exploring with water
On this occasion the children in our under two’s room explored the water flowing down our little river. The children are using little containers to scoop up water and pour it into other containers. The children are taking turns using the different resources that are available to them. Through water play children are able to problem solve and develop their social skills as they work side by side sharing resources. Children are able to gain an understanding of early mathematics such as volume as they pour the water into different containers, while developing their hand eye co-ordination at the same time.
