We've achieved our building blocks
Over the past year our Kindy has been working on achieving the eight 'Building Blocks For Under 5 year olds.' We have been awarded each of these building blocks by meeting each of their standards and requirements through the learning opportunities provided for our tamariki ma, a sound collection of evidence and collaboration activities with our whá¾±nau, professional community and staff. The different building blcoks we met are Kai Time, Breastfeeding Friendly, Smile - Oral Health, Let's Move Physical Activity, Keep the Bugs at Bay, Smokefree 1, 2, 3, Fun in the Sun, and Safe Play in the Best Way. As a Kindy we are so proud and happy to be a part of this and to have achieved each of these awards as Building Blocks is all about building a sustainable environment for health and wellbeing.
