We've been having so much fun
Over the past month the preschool tamariki have enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather that we have been having and with sunny weather comes lots of fun water play explorations. This is an all-time favourite of the tamariki and they have really enjoyed creating muddy rivers using the construction vehicles and sandpit, bubbly fun in the waiter trough using a variety of containers, scoops and other water apparatuses and also, they have enjoyed being master painters transforming our beautiful outdoor environment using paint brushes and buckets filled with water.
Through water play the tamariki have learnt to lift, pour and control water, they have begun to develop an understanding about measuring, estimating and volumes. They have been learning to share and cooperate with others while playing alongside their peers.
But most of all they have loved HAVING FUN with lots of laughs and giggles along the way!
