Our tamariki enjoyed an exciting and joy-filled Summer Carnival!
Each child received an entry ticket, giving them the opportunity to participate in every game station set up for the day.
From obstacle courses, throwing beanbags and small balls into boxes, shooting balls, striking balloons, to the ever-popular clean garbage bag race, the children showed great enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork. Everyone participated with big smiles and lots of laughter.
Throughout the day, the children also enjoyed playing freely with long balloons alongside their friends, creating moments of shared joy, creativity, and connection. One of the highlights of the carnival was enjoying a gluten-free ice cream treat, given as a reward for being respectful, cooperative, and enthusiastic participants. The excitement on their faces truly made the day extra special.
The fun continued into the afternoon, and during our afternoon kai, we enjoyed a lovely outdoor picnic, making the most of the beautiful weather while relaxing together. To close the celebration, teachers proudly presented special award certificates to every child, recognising their participation and effort.
A heartfelt thank you to the parents and whānau who joined us and supported this special day—it truly made the celebration even more meaningful for our tamariki.
