Last Thursday, our centre was buzzing with excitement as we came together for our annual Children’s Christmas Party. This much-loved tradition brings our tamariki, whānau, and kaiako together in the spirit of joy, celebration, and community.

From the moment the festivities began, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, festive colours, and the unmistakable magic that only this time of year can bring. A range of fun Christmas-themed activities were set up for our tamariki to explore, and they embraced every moment with enthusiasm.

Christmas playdough invited little hands to create festive shapes and characters, while the arts and crafts table quickly became a hub of creativity. Glitter, glue, and colourful paper were put to good use as children proudly made decorations and keepsakes to take home.

Bubbles floated through the air throughout the afternoon, adding an extra layer of wonder and delight. The tamariki chased, popped, and giggled their way through the bubble play, creating memories that were as light and joyful as the bubbles themselves.

The highlight of the day was a special visit from Santa and his helper elf. Children’s faces lit up on their arrival as they spread cheer and took the time to greet each child. Every tamaiti received a special gift to take home, making the celebration feel even more magical.

We are so grateful to our whānau for joining us and helping make this event such a success. Celebrations like these remind us of the strong sense of belonging we share at BestStart Milson Line and the joy that comes from creating special moments together. What a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season as a centre whānau.
