BestStart Hanleys proudly celebrated our annual whānau tea party, a special Christmas event filled with joy, connection, and togetherness.

Surrounded by our supportive whānau, the day was a beautiful reminder of the strong relationships we share within our learning community.

The classroom was filled with laughter, smiles, and a warm festive spirit as everyone came together to celebrate the end of the year. Our tamariki and teachers worked very hard to prepare delightful song and dance presentations. The children confidently performed in front of their families, showcasing their creativity, enthusiasm, and growing confidence.

Their performances were met with loud applause, encouragement, and proud smiles from parents and caregivers. It was truly heart-warming to see our tamariki shine and enjoy sharing their learning with their whānau. We were also delighted to see our whānau actively involved in the celebration. Some volunteered to sing Christmas carols and shared sweet nursery rhymes that were lovingly offered to our tamariki. This special involvement created a strong sense of belonging and partnership, making the celebration even more meaningful for everyone present.

Throughout the classroom, a variety of activities were set up for tamariki and parents to enjoy together. These experiences encouraged interaction, creativity, and quality time, allowing families to connect with their children in a fun and relaxed environment. The whānau tea party was a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas, strengthen relationships, and create lasting memories.

We are truly grateful to all our whānau for their support and for making this celebration such a success. Meri Kirihimete me te Tau Hou Hari! 🎄✨
