Kia ora, what an incredible month December has been here at BestStart Parau Drive. As we wrap up a fantastic year, we’ve been soaking in the joy, laughter, and festive spirit that this time of year brings. It’s a special opportunity to celebrate our tamariki, our whānau, and the wonderful community we share.
Christmas celebrations and Whānau Fun Day
Our Christmas party was a highlight of the month. It was heartwarming to see so many whānau join us to celebrate together. The centre was beautifully decorated, creating an atmosphere full of excitement and holiday cheer.
Whānau brought along delicious kai and shared stories, laughter, and good company. Tamariki loved the festive songs, games, and the chance to connect with their friends and families in a joyful setting.
Excursion to Bethlehem Shopping Centre
One of the most exciting adventures this month was our excursion to Bethlehem Shopping Centre. Tamariki had a wonderful time singing Christmas carols and spreading festive cheer to shoppers and staff alike.
Their enthusiasm filled the mall with joy, and it was great to see their confidence grow as they shared their holiday spirit. The excursion was not only fun, but also a valuable opportunity for tamariki to build social skills and experience the festive atmosphere beyond the centre.
