Holiday fun at BestStart Palm Springs !

What a great time we had enjoying the last school holidays. The teachers put together a great holiday programme for the tamariki of BestStart Palm Springs to enjoy. Each day the children could look forward to fun learning opportunities. 

They started the holidays of with their Pacific Explorers beach excursions, it was such a beautiful day that they laid on the warm sand making sand angels while soaking up the warm spring sun. 

An all time favourite was bike day with lots of bike riding with friends, sharing bikes, learning to ride without training wheels and even a bike wash station. 

Baking day made the centre smell amazing and the children loved eating their delicious kai for afternoon tea. 

Show and tell was an opportunity for the children to develop their confidence as they stood up in front of their peers to share news or talk about a favourite toy. 

Pirate day was full of fun with a pirate ship creation and treasure to be found. 

More outside fun included a gardening day, bug creations and a teddy bears picnic. What a busy couple of weeks. Tino Pai to mahi Kaiako and Tamariki!!!
