BestStart Data deletion policy

We store data for as long as it is necessary to provide services to you and your family, including your child’s data. Information associated with your portal user account, ie your myBestStart login, will be kept until your account is deleted. Information visible on the myBestStart portal relating to your child’s details and bookings, as well as guardian and emergency contacts are stored within our secure management system. This information is visible on the portal while your child is enrolled. When a child leaves BestStart to go to school or for another reason, information relating to this child and their enrolment will no longer be visible on myBestStart. 

You can delete your portal user account any time and this does not impact your child/children’s enrolment with us. If you delete your portal user account you will no longer have access to account information, your child’s bookings and other data via the myBestStart portal and will need to discuss any absences, holiday requests and payment changes directly with your child’s centre.
